Newcastle Castle is an attractions and historic monument based in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. The attraction is home to a museum, fantastic views over the city and provides a historic account of the city’s past.
Our brief was to create a detailed audience report on visitors to the castle using website intelligence, visitor data and booking system statistics. After compiling the here and now statistics, we were tasked with providing detailed rationale for visitors to the castle, how and why they visit, who the visitors are and provide a report on ways to enhance and increase visitor numbers moving forward.
The report includes several recommendations and, after analysis with Newcastle Castle, our contract was extended to fulfil some of these recommendations.
The result is a detailed audience report, analysis of who visits the castle (and who does not), recommendations on several levels (SEO, website performance, content, social media & marketing strategies, visitor enhancements and more).
We have also created a bespoke dashboard for visitor analysis moving forward.

Newcastle Tour Company is the consumer arm of Liverpool-based destination management company Experience North Ltd. The pandemic of 2020 showed a new opportunity for the company to expand into the consumer market. The branding and web design for Newcastle Tour Company (& Liverpool Tour Company) were developed by us from scratch and is now a working sales tool for Experience North. We also included full on-page SEO optimisation and all page speed enhancements.
The result is a new brand identity for Experience North for their B2C sales (traditionally the company has only dealt with B2B accounts). It is completely offset from their traditional company brand identity and represents a separate entity entirely. We created a total of 33 page with full capability for clients to book tours included. SEO includes keyword research & implementation, meta tags & descriptions, alt tags, caching & speed optimisation as well as ongoing backlink monitoring and more.

Fab 4 Taxi Tours was established in 2007 and specialises in Beatles tours in/around Liverpool. In 2019 the company was taken over and the new directors decided that a complete refresh of the website was required to include new design, updated features, more detailed information and, in particular, bookability online. We delivered on all aspects of the brief.
The result is a fresh new design with bold features and a clear focus on the customer journey. Tours are clear and easy to find and book. The company has several offerings which have been placed in their own sections. We have included major additions to the original website by providing pages, design (and some content) on company background, partnerships, their team & travel trade information. We also worked on the COVID-19 risk assessments and prevention plan.

Ancestry Concierge is a brand specialising in ancestral & genealogy research and tours / vacations to the United Kingdom. The brand had a logo but nothing else to show – we took the logo and after some consultation, stuck with it and designed the website & branding around the logo and colour scheme.
The result is an upmarket travel concept creation aimed at the discerning traveller who is looking for bespoke genealogical research into their family as well as the custom-created (and curated) travel arrangement into the UK. The brand design is a reflection of this ambition and travel concept. We have also added our SEO features into the build.

North East England Tourist Guides (NEETG) is an association of professional tourist guides in North East England.
Our brief was to to modernise their web presence, simplify the message and create short portfolios of each guide.
We were also asked to create a new brand identity with logo/font/colours to match consistently with what NEETG wish to represent.
The result is fully transformed brand identity with new logo design, updated fonts and colours as well as fully enhanced web design and content.
We have included a content management system for NEETG ta implement their own changes and have begun some basic SEO to upgrade rankings.

PERENNIAL TOURING
We are working with Heather at Perennial Touring to create an updated brand identity, web design and bring a booking engine onto her website for clients to make real-time bookings direct on the new website.

Visit NORTH EAST ENGLAND
We are working with Newcastle Gateshead Initiative (NGI), Port of Tyne and Visit North East England on a consultation piece focusing on destination strategy for the cruise industry.
