AI & Digital Opportunity Review

A practical starting point

AI & Digital Opportunity Review

Find where AI and better digital processes could genuinely save time, reduce friction or strengthen the customer journey—then leave with a clear, prioritised plan.

FormatFocused, fixed-scope review
TimeframeCompleted within 10 working days
OutputPrioritised 90-day action plan
The outcome

Know what to do next—and what not to do.

This is not a generic AI presentation or a list of fashionable tools. The review begins with the work, the customer journey and the commercial objective.

01

Immediate improvements

Identify practical changes that could remove unnecessary work or make an existing process clearer.

02

Priority experiments

Select the small number of AI or digital workflows worth testing, with appropriate human oversight.

03

Bigger decisions

Separate valuable longer-term opportunities from ideas that are premature, risky or unlikely to repay the effort.

What is included

A defined piece of work with useful outputs.

The standard review covers one business and up to five priority areas, such as enquiries, bookings, customer communication, marketing, internal knowledge or operational administration.

01

Pre-review questionnaire

Objectives, current systems, recurring problems and the team’s initial concerns.

02

Discovery meeting

A structured 60-minute session with the owner or relevant colleagues.

03

Five-area review

Examination of the priority workflows, systems and customer touchpoints agreed at the outset.

04

Opportunity assessment

Each opportunity considered by likely value, effort, readiness and risk.

05

Written report

An accessible report of approximately 8–12 pages, without unnecessary technical language.

06

90-day action plan

Recommendations sequenced into quick improvements, tests and larger decisions.

07

Findings meeting

A 45-minute walkthrough, with questions and sensible next steps.

08

Clear boundaries

Specific areas where AI should not be introduced, or where better foundations are needed first.

The process

Focused enough to complete. Detailed enough to be useful.

01

Prepare

Complete the questionnaire and share the systems or processes that matter.

02

Discover

Use the meeting to understand the real work, constraints and desired outcome.

03

Assess

Review the agreed areas and compare opportunities by value, effort, readiness and risk.

04

Prioritise

Receive the report, 90-day plan and findings walkthrough within ten working days.

Scope and investment

Clear about what the review does—and does not do.

Included in the review

  • One business or clearly defined operation
  • Up to five priority areas
  • Meetings with up to five relevant people
  • Assessment, written report and findings session
  • Practical next-step recommendations

Quoted separately if required

  • Building automations or integrations
  • Replacing websites or booking systems
  • Extensive staff training
  • Data migration or system implementation
  • Ongoing support and monitoring
Fixed-fee engagement

Reviews are scoped and quoted after an initial conversation. Larger organisations, multiple departments or several locations may require an expanded review.

Common questions

Before we begin.

Do we need to be using AI already?

No. The review is equally useful when a business is starting from scratch, experimenting informally or already paying for several tools without a coherent plan.

Does the review include implementation?

No. Keeping implementation separate protects the review’s independence and fixed scope. If support is useful afterwards, it can be prioritised and quoted from the action plan.

Will you recommend specific tools?

Where appropriate, but only after the problem and working requirements are clear. Sometimes the right recommendation is to improve an existing process before adding another platform.

Is this only for tourism businesses?

Tourism, hospitality and visitor experiences are our strongest operating context. We can also support other service businesses where the processes and customer journey are a good fit.

Can the review be completed remotely?

Yes. Most reviews can be completed remotely. On-site work can be considered where observing the operation would materially improve the assessment.

Start with the problem—not with AI.
